House of Prayer exists to connect people to Jesus, each other, because we each have a purpose.

Every person is loved by God, regardless of their background, social status, race, or religion. God has a specific purpose for you and your family, and true happiness will only be experienced when you follow His plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). House of Prayer Church is here in both Thibodaux and Larose, La. to connect you with opportunities to discover all that God has for you. From the ministries offered to children and teens to our community groups across the city, there is a place for you and your family to get connected.

House of Prayer is a family where all people are welcome. Your experience goes beyond a one-time encounter with God. Here, we experience God’s transforming love and life-changing involvement for the believer. Our worship is passionate and enthusiastic; our teaching is dynamic and practical, and our love for others is unfailing.  Our pastor teaches Bible-based messages relevant to everyday living and useful concepts that, when applied, lead to a better relationship with God and others. People experience healing, deliverance, and hope every week and develop life-long friendships.

We have been praying for our community and the surrounding areas for decades now, and those prayers also cover you. We hope that you experience the presence of Jesus every day of your life.

So, who are we? We are imperfect, normal people like you who have chosen to give our lives to honor the One who was crucified and rose again so that we can be truly free.
